Article Summary Today, non-metal composite materials are widely used as an alternative to metals due to economic and/or technological reasons. In this study, the pultrusion system, which is one of the continuous production methods in the production of composite materials, is introduced. The most common usage areas for thermoset composite materials produced with this system are specified. Experimental and theoretical studies for cost reduction are summarized by examining physical factors such as temperature, tensile speed and required tensile strength. The processing capability, static and dynamic mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced PMMA/PU IPN composites produced by the pultrusion method were investigated. It has been found to have excellent processing capability for pultrusion. At the end of the study, the results obtained from the interviews with 15 different pultrusion machine manufacturers in order to reach the best pultrusion machine design are included.
